Ekologiczne lustro MIRALITE PURE to produkt produkowany w Polsce. Na tle innych luster dostępnych na rynku wyróżnia się przede wszystkim minimalnym wpływem na środowisko. A to dlatego, że wykonane zostało – w 30% - ze szkła pochodzącego z recyklingu, co wpływa na redukcję emisji CO2. Jego niewątpliwą zaletą jest brak ołowiu, a także fakt, że nie wydziela niebezpiecznych związków organicznych. MIRALITE PURE ecological mirror with the Environmental Product Declaration
The ecological mirror MIRALITE PURE is a product made in Poland. Compared to other mirrors available on the market, it is distinguished primarily by its minimal environmental impact. It is made - in 30% - from recycled glass, which reduces CO2 emissions. Its undoubted advantage is the lack of lead, as well as the fact that it does not emit hazardous organic compounds. Importantly - because of the lack of lead, it's safe for people health. The Environmental Product Declaration stands for a guarantee of low impact of the product on the natural environment throughout its entire lifecycle, from its production through its use through its recycling. Using products which have EPDs in a building increases its chances to receive the BREEAM or LEED certificate. Furthermore, the recognisability and reputability of this declaration allows customers to make aware decisions leading to reducing the impact on the environment. - it is made of 30% of recycled glass (1 ton of cullet reduces by 300kg CO2 emissions),
- as a result of applying only one layer of water-based paint, we use 20% less paint,
CONSUMES LOW ENERGY
- glass and mirror are produced in the same plant to avoid transportation,
USES LESS CHEMICALS
- a water-based paint means 70% less solvents (for comparison, the concentration of solvents in a standard mirror is 460 g/l to 130 g/l in MIRALITE PURE),
- compliance with Decopaint Directive 2004/42/EC, that aims to limit VOC emissions due to the use of organic solvents in certain varnishes and paints, among other products, in order to prevent or reduce air pollution resulting from the contribution of VOCs to the formation of ground-level ozone,
- the lowest lead content (lead is a powerful anti-corrosive agent traditionally used in paint applied to the back of mirrors. It is potentially dangerous to health and the environment) - a standard mirror content 30-50.000 ppm – in comparison to MIRALITE PURE < 40 ppm,
